Attention Bleeding Heart Liberals! What would you do if the war was being fought on our own soil?

I'm so sick of hearing all these people say how the protest the war but support the troops, that’s bull ****. What would you do if they detonated a nuke on U.S. soil or turned our own streets into a war zone. Would you stand and fight (for once in you life.) or would you or continue to cry for peace as they kill and rape your families? None of you seem to see that eventually its going to come down to us against them. So what are you going to do when they come for us?

Attention Bleeding Heart Liberals! What would you do if the war was being fought on our own soil?
At first they would be in favor of defending ourselves.

After a couple of days they would see that 2 or 3 people had died defending the country, then they would say it's not worth it and call for immediate "redeployment" to Canada.

Then they would start inventing conspiracy theories about how it was Bush that attacked us for oil.
Reply:Hey Ted Nugent....stop this war...I want to get off!!

First, calm down and climb down off of your soapbox!! We were made to believe this war was against terrorism when some lovely (sarcasm) gentlemen flew some big planes into some big buildings. It's not a bomb--but still a despicable act. So we get all revved up to fight AGAINST TERRORISM...but we go to IRAQ instead??? Whaaaa??? Also, we have enough of our OWN problems to be avenging George Bush's (the father) misdeeds. We have enough killing and raping of our own to worry about--I'm sure if any Iraqi came here--he/she would be happy he/she could sleep at night!

No one's coming for us--stop using Bush's "terror" ploy nonsense to instill fear. We've put up with enough BS for one war...enough!!

PS...I've fought for my country...my husband has been to Iraq and my brother has been to Iraq---TWICE.

What have you done for U.S. lately?????
Reply:If we were fighting a war in America, I would be ready to defend myself, my family and my Country. Would you?
Reply:When did disagreeing with A WAR turn into against ALL WARS?

In every American conflict in history there have been liberals standing beside conservatives. In the Revolutionary War you could make a strong argument that the majority of colonial soldiers were liberals given that they stood against the status quo of the monarchy. The Union in the Civil War fought for a stronger federal government and the abolition of slavery (how bleeding heart can you be fighting for that???). I think liberals, as well as conservatives, will stand up fine in a invasion.

You should relax and come back to reality.
Reply:This is possibly the most stupid question I have ever seen, get yourself a brain, come out of your bunker and try and look at things with at least one ounce of common sense.
Reply:You've said it and there is so much more that needs to be said! I've tried it and there is not enough room here. A big star Bro!
Reply:***YAWN*** You're generalizing.

How dare you presume to know what I would or would not do? You haven't walked in my shoes, or you'd know that I've been "fighting" for the better part of 17 years. And if the war was being fought on our soil, I would continue the FIGHT if it came down to it, for my family. So why don't you stop your displaced, misinformed rant and go watch another John Wayne movie. Apparently you've lead a sheltered life which leads you to think that you can make ignorant, sweeping generalizations about things you know absolutley nothing about. "Us against them"? More like "us against people like you"
Reply:Why do you live in so much fear???
Reply:Who is "them?" Don't you read the paper? Iraq don't have any nuclear weapons. While our troops are being killed over there the real threat, Bin Laden, is hiding out building new terrorist training camps. It's the wrong war inte wrong place at the wrong time.
Reply:I would bet you're not a veteran. I'm sick of hearing people with no military background beating their chest's to the drum of fox news. Screw you. I served my country and in no way shape or form is this a justified war that any American should be tasked to participate in. 3,000 + dead for what? There is no valid response. My cousin took shrapnel in the neck just 3 weeks ago. Let's just say you don't see him sitting at his computer bashing war protestors. I have since been honorably discharged from the military and left the U.S. because of idiots like you.
Reply:Well, you see, that is just the point..... The war is NOT on our soil...Iraq was NOT going to attack the U.S. If we were under attack or invasion, we would fight against the people who are the agressor.

There are very few countries in the world that have the capability to "come after us" and cause us serious harm. Thankfully, most of them are not agressive.

Who is the "they" that can detonate a nuclear bomb on one of our cities? The only advanced nuclear programs are in Russia and North Korea - they have delivery systems that can actually reach American shores. Quite frankly, it would be North Korea I would be worried about - especially with the moron in the white house...who refuses to negotiate with "evil-doers"...

So - why are we not invading the countries who present harm to us.

Bush invaded Iraq for the oil. Al Queda was not in Iraq - bin Laden was not in Iraq - terrorist training camps did not exist in Iraq.

And - as for "us against them" in your little speech - that is what negotiations do. Countries of the world don't have to like each other - but they do have to agree on certain things in order for the world to keep turning. For hundreds of years, our country has negotiated. What kept the "Cold War" from turning hot was negotiations..We simply have a madman who is incapable of negotiation, doesn't have the intelligence or the language skills, doesn't have the interest. He only wants what Iraq has and that is the oilfields.
Reply:While I'm not a liberal, I must say that your question has absolutely nothing to do with what's going on in Iraq and is totally irrelevant.

And if you can't understand the idea of "supporting the troops but not the war," then I can't explain it to you. Maybe if you were in uniform and over there you'd understand, but right now...nope.
Reply:You seem to underestimate our ability to fend off a violent invasion.

WHY ARE OUR BORDERS WIDE OPEN TO BEGIN WITH?
Reply:You haven't been watching the daily show... have you?
Reply:Liberals...? Fight?

You lost me right there...
Reply:No wonder you have 0% best answers. I honorably served in Vietnam. Some of think the war in Iraq was won when Saddam was deposed and his weapons destroyed. Why can't you understand the conflict between the Shiites and the Sunnis cannot be solved by anyone except the Islamic people? Their dispute is over 800 years old. The issue is over who is the legitimate heir to Mohammad. How do you propose we solve that disagreement? When Saddam threw out the U.N. weapons inspectors, we were justified in invading Iraq. The Congress and the American people supported that action. The time has come to recognize we won and to leave. I've already fought for my country "(for once in my life)" as you put it. I would do it again. How have you served your country?
Reply:Probably what the people of Iraq are doing when invaded by what they see are infidels troddin on sacred land. What would anyone do when their home is invaded. Unfortunately those who last invaded this are dead and their bosses are still on the loose. If we had spent as much money and manpower going after Osama Bin Laden as Saddam Hussein who was no threat to us we would not have to worry about it.

Of course, the one who posted this question is coming to us live from Iraq. Or is this just another chickenhawk finding the war the greatest thing as long as their little behind is not over there? And therefore full of conservative radio hate talk.
