My bleeding heart plant has yellow on some of the leaves...?

Some of the leaves have yellow discolored areas, almost like ragged yellow stripes. The areas are not raised and there is nothing visible inside or below the leaves causing the change/damage. We just had a couple of dry weeks followed by a few days of heavy rains, is it related? Otherwise the plant, a red variety, and my white one are full and doing great, no discoloration on the white.

They are moderately ephemeral, so I think the dry weather made it think about going dormant for a while - packing it up for a few months - which they will do when it gets hot and dry around here. So I would simply cut the yellowed leaves back for looks and it should be fine. You could give it some fertilzer with a little iron in it - the only other thing that comes to mind that would yellow a bleeding heart - but I think that would be uncommon, normally they just like to die back for a few months if the conditions are too dry - next time you move it, place it in a lower, moister part of the yard to reduce this tendency in the future.
