ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and Mexicans and Bleeding heart Americans....?

Are always talking and whineing about the 4 states that used to belong to Mexico and now belong to USA. They always say that ..well that was Mexico's etc etc. Well NOW it belongs to the USA.

Here is the Qestion:

If USA now wanted to sell the 4 states back to Mexico at current price (oh what the hell...just lets say if USA was willing to sell only Texas back at the current price) do you think the Mexicans can affort to buy it back...............

(please... before bleeding hearts have a heart attack. ...please check and see what price Mexicans sold Texas for and remember that the Mexicans were the ones who set the price).......

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and Mexicans and Bleeding heart Americans....?
Based on the economy of the four states in question versus the economy of Mexico; Mexico could not afford to buy back the land they sold, even if we gave them a discount.

Personally, I can't understand why they would want the land back. History has shown that they have no idea what to do with the land and country that they have. Why in the world would they want more of it? Do they simply want to expand on their welfare state?
Reply:And would they understand that it would only be for the land and that the infrastructure would be destroyed. All they would end up with is more of northern Mexico. In other words....Nothing.
Reply:no
Reply:Please! Mexico! take Texas back, Free America doesn't want it any more. If we sell any property back to Mexico, won't Russia want Alaska? and while were at it how about considering giving all of the USA back to the indians!
Reply:No. That's why they supposedly come to the United States illegally.
Reply:Yes, remember that the head of Mexican government is the second richest man in the world, right under Bill Gates.
Reply:As a proud, native Texan, I would raise hell!!!!!!
Reply:Kind of a hypothetical question, isn't it?
Reply:the reason Mexico sold the southwest to the U.S. so cheap was because they had to!!!!!!!

if you remember the war!!!!! the united states had just beaten Mexico...... Mexico was in no position to negotiate!!!!

it was kinda like the godfather saying "i will give you an offer you can't refuse"

your point is futile!!!!!!
Reply:mexico is the richest of the central american countries.....but to answer your question why should they buy texas when our government is giving it to them for free!
Reply:Sorry dude (or dudette whichever may apply), but what makes you think I am willing to be sold? I pay my taxes as an employer and a citizen. Try again with some other solution.
Reply:USA would never sell our country to anyone.

.
Reply:treaty guadalupe hidalgo was a paper to justify the stealing in order usa could say we didn't steal it, we bought it. mexico was not in position to negotiate, and when you say "Remember the alamo" i say "Remember the manifest destiny" and "Monroe doctrine".

Reply:So what does it have to do with Illegal Immigration? If anything, I don't think they'd buy it back, both countries need each other, otherwise the US would've really made borders a reality instead of the joke they're right now.
Reply:If I remember my Texas history right Mexico didn't sell Texas to us, we took it. We got into a war and won it. They might have put money down on it to make it look like we bought it but there was a big *** fight for it (REMEMBER THE ALAMO?).

No Mexico wouldn't have the money to buy Texas back, not with what Texas is worth today. Mexico couldn't afford to buy anything back right now.

And if the bleeding hearts want to get technical, this great nation known as the USA originally belonged to the Native Americans so, get over it, get the illegals out and let us go on with our lives. I'm tired of having to listen to Spanish in the stores when I go in to buy anything.
Reply:These states

have infrastructure created by Americans. It's not the dirt they want, it's the commerce that we created. If a Mexican sold me an old Impala for 500 bucks and I spent 5,000 "to trick it out", Should I give him back the car because he was nice enough to sell it to me? Should I sell it to him for 5500 because that's my investment? Or should I sell it to my cousin for 10500 he offered? If that Mexican tries to steal that car saying he had it first, what ever force is necessary should be applied to prevent the theft of my property and investment. It would be typical for such a Mexican to claim I stole the car in the first place but he made the deal. I would not sell the original owner the car since he has a reputation for crashing his past cars with disregard for necessary maintenance.
