The U.S. Military Water boards Soldiers in training for war.Whereare all the Bleeding Hearts for them?

finally we have a thinker in the group , ive been trying to tell ppl this for about 5 mths but its SEAl and special forces that go through this training

The U.S. Military Water boards Soldiers in training for war.Whereare all the Bleeding Hearts for them?
Soldiers volunteer for service, %26amp; are subject to the training requirements set by the military.

People held in military detention cannot be subject to torture, as it voilties a pile of human rights.

In order to set a standard for humanity we must follow that standard ourselves.
Reply:No they don't

A few volunteers get it for training but not the usual GI.

Only people who volunteer to have it done to them get it done to them.
Reply:my heart wont bleed for scooter Libby if they did it to him to find out the truth! i wish Jane Fonda would have the gull,. oops i meant gall!,. to do it herself!,.let the CIA start with scooter Libby!.,.if scooter Libby terrorized our undercover hero's at the CIA by exposing them then maybe he should be water boarded by them to find out who told him to do it and how high up in the white house did the command to expose CIA agents come from!
Reply:I think they only do it during some of the training for elite forces. Not a part of regular training.

All this complaining about water boarding has more to do with hatred for Bush than anything else. Water boarding went on during the Clinton, Bush Sr. and Regan administrations and nobody said squat about it.

Sad fact is we have enemies, sadder fact is many of them live amongst us. They are not nice people and mean people only understand harsh treatment.
Reply:Would you prefer wader boarding training, or the real thing in enemies hands? Should you even be comparing training to the real thing. Either way it is the legitimacy of the answers you get from someone that feels like they may die, that is the real issue.
Reply:I mentioned it the other day. I don't think water boarding is torture. I think it is a waste of water and they should put guns to their heads.
Reply:The question is not where are the bleeding hearts for the soldiers [who need this training if they are ever captured by terrorists], but why are our hearts bleeding for prople who plan mass murder?
Reply:All Military Branches have some form of SERE training. Survive, Evade, Resist and Escape. That is because our enemies don't believe in the Geneva Convention. Jane Fonda had the gull to say our prisoners of war were properly treated.... Water boarding is not torture it is a psychological tactic that does no physical harm.

Reply:You are the first to mention that this is part of a training for soldiers. Being that we have friends and a brother who are enlisted and serving, they never mentioned going threw this.

As far as I know, they do not do this at camp Pendleton here in CA.
Reply:volunteering for something and being tortured are NOT the same thing.
