I have bare root Bleeding hearts,it looks like some growth has started in the bag, do i bury all of it?

I'm a horticulturist. Plant it like you normally would. With this particular plant, if some growth gets covered up, it should not matter.

Be careful of this plant trying to take over. It spreads underground by rhizomes and is very hard to control.

Bury the root up to the new growth. Water well and keep pot in a well lighted area until you can plant outside. This plant will give you years of enjoyment.
