Bleeding hearts-where is your compassion?

US Dept of Health and Human Services says 600,000 are homeless (these are citizens many living in boxes at night) 37% are living in poverty. One would at min wage work 87 hours for the average 2-3 bedroom apartment-doesn't leave much for Medical-Transportation -Utilities-ect. The US Census Bureau says the very poor has jump from 1.3 million to 3.5 million in last year. 37% are sick, disable or old (and growing). Many of the homeless work(those who are not sick and disable) min pay. Causes-low wages(who helps here)-program cuts (increased much since immigration from Mexico (what a surprise) Medical cost-from those not citizens, money used for others(non citizens) that they could use---Billions. We cannot feed the world (not enough money)-so help those here who are dying everyday. Why do they not count-and why are they in the back of line? Many served our country and fought for rights you have-now they can not eat or afford their medicine. Must be nice to help others .How good you are.

Bleeding hearts-where is your compassion?
I agree. Why are we trying so hard to help other countries when we still have hungry people at home who are literally begging for help.Veterans, women, children, whole families living on the street is disgraceful. Charity begins at home. And also the illegal immigrants are supposedly doing the jobs Americans don't want but personally I would rather pick fruit than be hungry or homeless. I'll bet alot of these homeless people would too.
Reply:thats horrible what their going through, but what does that have to do with immirgration?

Their are alot of agencies that will also help them they just need to get the courage to seek out the help.
Reply:i can't debate this one because i agree with it.
Reply:I agree that we need to take care of our own, first.
Reply:We are all products of the decisions we've made. Take care of yourselves! How's that for compassion?
Reply:I agree with everything you said we should worry about our own before taking food %26amp; jobs away from U.S. citizens
Reply:The illegals are not keeping the homeless homeless. Why don't you blame employers?
Reply:Compassion goes to the ones that deserve it,

If you feel compasion for that people you mention, take home a drunk junkie to live with your family. Let him stay in the same bedroom with your children and let'em learn how good drug and alcohol is.
Reply:I had enough. Lets blame the world with our misfortunes.
