Any of you bleeding hearts still think Cuba is a swell place?
And the fact that this one person has chosen to leave proves what???? Many people have left many countries for many reasons----even the US (wow! shocker, eh?).

One of the many thousands of people who defect or leave their homeland every year and just because he did this you think that justifies or proves a point .





Tens of Thousand of Cubans do not have the opportunity to leave their country , less ask for exhile in the U.S. , so this Cuban celebrity who's standard of living is most likely higher than the average Cuban decides to defect , guess what ...................... it's about the money my friend , Otero saw an oportunity and he took it.





Carlos Otero is taking advantage of U.S.-Cuba policies and yes he's bettering the lives of his family , how is this different than any other Immigrant from a Latin American country who seeks asylum here.

Reply:He's coming to the US for the money. I don't think this says anything about Cuba. It's past time for the embargo on Cuba to be lifted.
