I wonder how many liberal nutjobs in the U.S. are whining tonight. It's amazing how the iraqi people in Michigan are dancing in the streets due to the paing saddam caused them, yet Americans who have never even been in Iraq will be mad at the outcome, how weird is that?

Iraq is pretty much in a civil war with troops being killed daily now. Boy, thank God Hussein isn't around; I'm sure it will be peaceful now; give me a break.





Saying that Iraqi's are so happy Hussein is dead is abolute idiocy. Let me guess; your a middle aged white man who still can't see the truth, and is a koolaid drinking right winger. I thought so.

Did he ever offer any apologies for the 5,000 civilians he murdered with chemical warfare; or his very own soldiers, or all the rapings? NO!

As a taxpayer and friend to many Marines... having Saddam hang is about as comforting as a "thank-you" after a prison gang rape... so what.
Reply:I am usually pretty pissed off, yes. Bleeding heart? No. I try to practice and preach tolerance, and if my family member was a victim I would almost surely want vengeance. The difference is one is an emotional response that isn't logical for promoting civility, where tolerance is an ideal that if we all worked a little harder at, the world would be better.





It is not my place to judge Saddam Hussein any more than it is my place to judge his executioners. And no I am not a Christian, but Jesus was wise.





One thing that always boggles my mind. If you agree that condemning a man to death is acceptable and sometimes appropriate, why does the form of execution matter? Is it the visual aspect of seeing the man's eyes pop out and waste from other places? I guess that's really why the hood is offered. The electric chair is considered far more gruesome, by the way, taking sometimes 3-5 minutes to kill, with violent convulsions and arteries exploding internally. Who's the third world nation now?
Reply:Anyone who would mourn and whine the death of a man that, slaughtered thousands of his fellow countrymen just because they did not agree with him,sent his sons out on rape parties hunting down women arbitrarily and making them perform lude sex acts,actually using chemical weapons to exterminate a whole sector of his population once again because they did not see eye to eye,tried to take over one of his neighbors so he could steal their oil reserves,and saw himself as a god and wanted to unite the whole arab world under his rule,starting with Kuwait,really needs to have their head examined.
