Can any of you bleeding hearts tell me why suggesting the White Buffalo and White Brother are prophecies ...?

... of the the same thing would offend Native American beliefs? The White Brother still supposed to come IS their belief!


Can you help them overcome thier pain with pity?


I have learned their Way of the Warrior. Which has no room for pity, and resentment of the past. But to find peace of mind, and enjoyment of Life in the Here and Now!

It is offensive because you are using your priveledge as a person in power (a caucasian man) to interpert a Native prophecy. One cannot just hear a Native prophecy, and without understanding the culture, interpert it And then even change it to suit your beliefs. You have no right to determine what Natives mean. They are fully capable of determing for themselves what they mean. And white buffallo have been born you know.

Living in the past is destructive and racing to the future is blinding to all that is to be appreciated in today. No one can overcome pain with pity, but a sympathetic ear and a helpful word may enlighten those stuck in the past or fighting the future and it's many changeable outcomes. Reply:white people came to the usa and slaughtered red indians for profit and greed stole their lands killed their children and raped their women,in the highlands of scotland the english gov meted out horrible crimes on the people who lived there some even were skinned alive just so their lands could be taken over and english lords keep their cattle and sheep,and use them as sporting estates
