8 wks pregnant bleeding baby has heart beat?

i am 8 wks pregnant today and i already posted this question yesterday but thursday i was at dr and baby had heart beat an i had some light bleeding then bleeding stoped then saturday the bleeding was back and it hasnt wetn away it get worse when i stand up then when i lay around. can anyone help

Go to the ER. I went through the same thing, and the doctor put me on bed rest until my next dr.'s appointment. I turned out to be fine, but it's still scary as hell. Go to the ER.
Reply:when i was 12 weeks pregnant i started bleeding,


was rushed to hospital thinking i had lost the baby but after emergency ultrasounds it turned out the baby was fine.( i was also told it is quite common to bleed at 6, 8, and 12 weeks pregnant. i never knew this.)


when i saw my reg doc he told me to go home and rest.


thats all he ever said when i was still bleeding at 14weeks i couldnt take it anymore so i went to a new doc who discovered my placenta was comming unstuck.


he gave me some tablets to stop the bleed and that should help the placenta reattatch.


it worked, i stopped bleeding and placenta is now fully attatched.


i am due in a week.


go to your doctor n if ur told to go home and rest see another doctor!!!!!

I had to have IVF to have my kids and suffered 11 miscarriages in 2 yrs. Bleeding at this stage IS NOT OKAY!





If you cant get into your Dr then go to the hospital!

Reply:Awww sweetie, how scarey! Spotting type bleeding is normal but heavy bleeding and cramping is not. If your experiencing bleeding on the heavy side, then you need to call your ob.





Didnt you mention something to your doctor at your ultrasound? What did he/she say?

Reply:have u talked to your doctor- if u havent call the doctor. light bleeding is normal during pregnancy but a period that wont go away is something to call the doctor-hope everythings ok.


its probably nothing -be safe then sorry.
Reply:It is normsl to bleed when your pregnant some women have thier period up till they are 7 months my friends mom did that. But Bleeding is normal if you stoped your period too But it is only normal if you were having sex or having anything up in you. Reply:That is great that the baby had a heart beat. If your still bleeding when your laying down and resting you need to call your Dr. first, you need to determine how much bleeding you are having and if it is deep red and if there are any clots. You may just be experiencing some bleeding due to your uterus stretching. I wish that I can talk to you directly because I have had 5 miscarriages and would like to give you some signs and I have also bled with every pregnancy. Reply:When i was 10 weeks pregnant, i had some bleeding, i went to A%26amp;E and i was told i had a miscarrige. A few days later i went to have a scan to check my womb, and there was my little bean. I have never felt so happy. My symptoms were very similar to yours, i would book an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can, maybe you could request a scan to put your mind at rest.
Reply:bed rest, and LOTS of it. If you're bleeding is worse when you're standing or walking i suggest you talk to your doctor, see what he thinks and if i'm correct on this he'll/she'll tell you the same, get the bed rest you need until you're at full term.
