i live in zone 5, will it survive.


does it like sun or shade.


is it a vine.

Bleeding Heart plants do not like too much sun. They prefer a shady spot.


Select a site with light to medium shade and well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter.

Reply:It may not survive in full sun, it prefers shade and can be finicky elsewhere. It isn't a vine. After flowering in the spring, the plant will die back until next year so remember where you planted it too not dig it up (unless you are moving it). You can get bleeding hearts in white or pink.
