Does anyone know how long it takes a bleeding heart to come up, I planted 3 about 2 1/2 weeks ago and nothing?

Like many woodland flowers, bleeding hearts die back after blooming. Planted in shade with humus rich, moist soil the plants will last much longer.

A number of varieties are available, including some with all white flowers to an almost ever-blooming type that looks similar to wild bleeding heart

Requirements:

Soil Type - Well drained, humus rich

Soil ph - Neutral

Water - Moist

Light - Partial shade

Characteristics:

Height - up to 4 ft.

Time of bloom - May - June

Flower colors - Red, Pink, White

Propagation - Division

Transplants - Fair

give it some time to settle a few weeks might not be long enough hope link helps in any questions you have on this plant

It sounds as though you bought some sold in a sealed plastic bag....these rarely take as have been subjected to too many temperature ranges.
