I found out my girl is a bleeding heart liberal and doesnt support the president...what do i do?

When we met my girlfriend seemed like she was ultra conservative and supported Bush et all...but I found out she has inquired on joining a certain senator from Illinois campaign for president..I want to confront her on this and ask her why she didnt take Senator Brownbacks campaign (she was offered a position)...help!

Reply:well it depends on how much this will hinder your relationship with her. is it something you can both just agree to disagree on or is it a major issue that will stop you from growing with her?
Reply:Maybe she thinks Bush is doing a lousey job, and if she thinks that way, I totally agree with her, Bush has got this country so screwed up! And your gal has a right to her own opinion the same as you have a right to yours, so quit trying to change her!
Reply:I couldn't imagine loving someone and having my political views be an interference! There are relationships that exist where one is an atheist and the other goes to church every Sunday. When you are old and withered, but with the one you love, will Bush or any other political face really matter?

Well, my advice is open your eyes and step into the light with your girlfriend, you'll find it so enlightening, and you will be using your passion to the good of the citizens of the U.S. You will be on the side of the working people who are trying to keep this country in tact for the generations to come, and you will no longer be living only for today. Someday you may have children, wouldn't you rather your children thank you for having saved the Country, rather than giving it away and leaving them nothing for thier futures?

Reply:It's her choice on what she believes in. No one can or will be able to change that. Everybody has their opinions about everything. Accept her for who she is not because you all don't agree in certain political views. What you can do is try to persuade her into your way of thinking, but if she disagrees still, just let her be.
