YOU ARE the Liberal Bleeding Heart or Republican Conservative Full Right...WHICH ??

You ARE Conservative REP or Liberal DEMO? WHY PLEASE need to know...

YOU ARE the Liberal Bleeding Heart or Republican Conservative Full Right...WHICH ??
I am a fence sitter between liberal and libertarian.

Why? Because I believe in many conservative beliefs, but I draw the line at needing a law to force others to live by them.

And because that way of thinking does not agree with right-wing hardliners, I tend to side with liberals, because I find right-wingers such as the Religious Right, traditional cons, and neocons to be extremely irrational in their views and expectations of others.

Another thing that places me at odds with the right, is I am very secular in my beliefs regarding politics, even though I respect people of faith, and generally defend them against people who make unreasonable attacks against them, I tend to get awful defensive when they attack me expecting that I am going to accept their point about their god of Love while they are persecuting me for not agreeing with them.

With that in mind, I vote for the people who put the American laborer first, and NOT the party that promotes corporations over the people by expanding NAFTA to include Columbia like McCain wants to do.
Reply:I'm kinda centrist but slightly liberal. I used to be centrist conservative.

I don't think I'll ever be a far-left or far-right, as I have views from both sides. I tend to be socially conservative and economically liberal. I like the idea of helping out the working class and having the people who can afford the most pay high taxes, but I also defend conservative views on some social issues like abortion.
Reply:I am neither a Liberal Bleeding Heart or Republican Conservative. I am an American who votes based on my beliefs.

If Hillary were to win the nomination, I would probably vote for a third party candidate. I could never be a republican because although most of them are not racist, many still are and they definitely tolerate racists.

Democrats have recently shown me that they are not to far behind the republicans in the tolerance area.

If I had to label myself right now I might say I am a possible, future Canadian. :)
Reply:I'm a person that believes the US Constitution --as it was written

As it was voted on by the original 13 colonies, and how it was expanded by the other amendments is the the best document on how a Government should Governor it's people.

I don't believe it is a "LIVING DOCUMENT" that would be like changing the rules in the middle of a game.

I don't believe the Supreme Court has any right to look outside of the US CONSTITUTION to Get it's answers from. Like a few suggested that Foreign Laws could provide some Basis to form their opinions.

So by that definition I'm a conservative.
Reply:...I'm a "typical white person, bitter, clinging to my guns and religion" while "suffering from the suspension of disbelief" as I'm held "under the veil of suppression" as I run, "dodging the sniper fire" trying to get to the TV so I can watch the video my "uncle helping liberate the Camp at Achwhitz" %26lt;--sorry about the spelling, it's a typical white-mans charactor defect but as soon as I get my economic stimilus refund check I'm going to spend it entirely on a 100% American product...yes, there actually is one...believe it or note... Budweiser !!!
Reply:I am a republican...people hate me for it...yahoo answers censors me for it ...but I believe that the republicans don't want to intrude into my life, my doctors office, my bedroom.....as do the demoncrats....and the republicans won't raise my taxes for nonsensical things .......like welfare...and health care...all things that drain an economy.....

and the other reason I distrust the demoncrats is that they are soft on the military and I'm afraid that they won't properly defend us against terrorism.......

It's really not too much to ask to be able to go to work, or the mall or a baseball game and not get blown to pieces by a terrorist.......the demoncrats can't or won't do that.......
Reply:Completely independent. I would have voted for McCain until he started politicking for votes. I would have voted for Clinton if he can run again. I didn't vote for Bush either time because he is an idiot that has run this country into the ground. I am amazed by the amount of people who think that he is doing a good job. bin Laden is Dead (ESRD patients don't last 7 years without dialysis and the leader of Pakistan said he was killed)
Reply:Neither... I am a sensible fiscal conservative with social liberal ideals. I am too smart and informed to be ruled by a ideaology. I make independent decisions and damn the liberal or conservative set parameters. I make my own mind.
Reply:I am not a member of any political party. When I vote these days, however, I am voting to punish Republicans for governing badly. They don't seem to get it yet though.
Reply:Like most Americans I am a Moderate.

Like most Americans I get no representation because the Republicans have too much pressure from the far right %26amp; the Democrats have too much pressure from the far left.
Reply:Neither Dem nor Lib. In not on the far side of either, except in the minds of some who wish to label me as such. It's their prerogative. I've yet to lose sleep over someone disagreeing with me.
Reply:here is the thing most of you people don't get. Most people are in the middle not on either extreme. The GOP likes talk like that and wedge issues to distract people from the real issues
Reply:I'm an American.

I vote in every election, local and national.

And I accept the results.

I don't need to be labeled.

Do you?
Reply:I'm a heartless right winger. I figure lifes easier if I just worry about myself and not everyone else...seriously, no sarcasm intended.
Reply:The Republican Party left me I didn't leave it. Much like Ronald Reagan said in the 70's. I didn't leave the Democratic Party it left me.
Reply:i'm a conservative because i'm able to leave emotion at the door and think logically.
Reply:I am more liberal when it comes to social issues and I would say barely left of center on everything else.
Reply:I am much more of a libertarian than anything....but even then I am pretty much all over the map on many issues.

Honestly....It all depends on the issue and the situations....

Independent.
Reply:I am an Independant Traditional-Conservative (making sure you know I am not anywhere close to a Neo-Con ewww gross lol)

where's my party at I don't see it %26gt;.%26gt; %26lt;.%26lt;
Reply:I'm a conservative of the Ronald Reagan type.
Reply:I'm a conservative. I don't see too many of us on the DEM side so I'd have to call myself a REP too at this point. Ew.
Reply:The sensible moderate.
Reply:Liberal and proud of it.
Reply:Since most agree that America's best days are in its past (even libtards), I am a staunch conservative.

I just can't figure out why the liberals want to go as far away as possible from the best days of America. Anyone? If they believe that America's best days are in the past, they must admit that they retrogress because they continually change from what made the past great.

  1. No doubt about it, the "party" is over.

All over the print and electronic media this week, the poobahs and pundits are predicting major Republican gains in next year's elections. What is their basis for so bold a prediction? Historically, the party of a sitting president always loses in the midterm elections. It is as natural as autumn following summer. However, they fail to take into consideration one crucial factor: this is no ordinary time.

Given their weird behavior in the last year or so - and given the fact that they will only continue to self destruct in coming twelve months - I cannot foresee them gaining any serious ground in either the House or the Senate on Election Day next. In fact I can only see their numbers diminishing even further. By this time next year, Sarah Palin will be yesterday's news - count on it.

We can only hope that out of the carnage of the GOP's destruction will come a third party that is a tad more moderate and thoughtful - and I must emphasize the word "Hope". Than ain't never gonna happen, baby! It's easy to predict that the Democrats will be running things for a long time into the future. The problem with that little scenario is, as Machiavelli said, "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely" - and the Democrats already have more-than-their-share of corrupt political hacks. For every Russ Feingold there are about ten Max Baucuses. If the Democratic Party is going to be taken seriously in their self-proclaimed roll as the "the party of the people" (and that's getting harder to believe by the day) they need to be purged of their dead weight.
